New Zealand Skills in Demand are seeking qualified Senior Mechanical Test Engineers for roles in Christchurch.

Creation of test plans that will ensure their products meet all international certification requirements as well as tougher internal requirements.
Execution, analysis and report generation of test plans
Co-ordination and creation of tests and test fixtures as required
Interfacing with external test houses in multiple countries
Interfacing with mechanical engineers at multiple engineering sites around the world
What you will need:
BE Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (E.g. NZCE).
5+ years in the testing of electronic products.
Experience with providing detailed drawings for manufacture.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient with MS Office Suite; including: MS Word Excel, Powerpoint.
Ability to legally work in New Zealand and travel internationally as required.
Ability to read and understand international specifications.
Additional Preferred Skills:
Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Experience with interacting with international vendors.
Working knowledge of heat transfer and thermal management.
3+ years experience with 3D solid modelling with a preference for Solidworks.
